Summary:
Gotham City sleeps under the cover of darkness while two legendary bats take flight. One is turning the city into an army of vampires while the other does everything he can to stop the mayhem. But Dracula isn't simply one of The Batman's usual foes: he's got supernatural powers of strength, speed and mind control. Even with his arsenal of high-tech gadgets, the Dark Knight is still a mortal man. This is the one face-off that could clip The Batman's wings permanently!
Note:
- DC Comics' Batman was created by Bob Kane and made his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939). - There have been already two other movies with Batman against Dracula: Andy Warhol's homage Batman Dracula (1964), and in 1967 Batman Fights Dracula was produced in the Philippines. Neither of these movies was authorized by DC Comics. - In the comic book world, Batman has faced Dracula in the critically acclaimed "Elseworlds" (which means an alternate universe) graphic novel Red Rain (1991), which was followed by two sequels, Bloodstorm and Crimson Mist. - This film is a direct-to-video movie from the creators of the animated Saturday morning show The Batman (2004), and marks Vicki Vale's first animated appearance (played by Tara Strong, the voice of Batgirl on Batman Gotham Knights ). It is also the first time that real blood is shown in The Batman.
