What on the first glimpse appears as a standard-hentai-flick (there are a lot of unscrambled hentai-scenes in it, that's for sure), isn't one at all. It is well-executed old-school Anime-food like the well-known milestones "Urotsukidoji" or "Wicked City". You get the right mixture containing Fantasy (in this case vampire-myth), Violence and Sex. Although it is far from becoming a second "Urotsukidoji", it definitely has the drive and quality to become a more than mediocre ancestor. Many Elements have sure been stolen from the classics, but who cares, that's not a crime ... as long it no obvious remake.
