Our Ranking

short review:

Whoa, what is this? The sequel has turned into an action-packed, high-speed FX-galore-fest! Every second a new explosion or kick-boxing sequence! They tried their best to maintain the comic-like style (In fact, the original source is a comic series from Marvel Comics), but I liked the prequel more, it had more of a story to tell. I know, I know, the first Blade movie had some argueable points (garlic filled silver bullets and so on...), but this here seems only to be a vehicle for sheer action-power. They could have changed the vampire characters into mere men, it would not have made too much of a difference! Nevertheless it is a Vampire movie, and if you like your movies served with a big-bang-boom, you're definitely in the first row here.
