Summary: Three modern-day vampires are the targets of the religious crusade of Brother Bem (Phil Motherwell), so they decide to raid a casino for some cash and get out of town. But now the real trouble starts, as they're chased by various psychotics - the mobsters, the wacko zealots and the two hyper-violent idiot cops who are out to shoot anybody just for the fun of it. Their blood spattered odyssey can only lead to a final confrontation of wild violence...
Note: - The first Australian movie ever banned in Britain due to the copious amounts of sex and gore.
- This film was the first feature for directors Richard Wolstencroft (founder of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival) and Jon Hewitt, and was filmed on video (but with a theatrical release).
- The cast partly consists of DJ's from local Melbourne radio station RRR, and Australian underground musicians (Ian Rilen of legendary punk band X , and Frank Brunetti, former member of 80s indie faves Died Pretty ).
- The vampires in the film are more like unusually strong, blood-drinking punks, as all other supernatural elements have been expunged from the script.
