Sexy vampire Catherine (Felicia Pandolfi) and her familiar Lendel (Warren Blyth) are on the run from a ruthless vampire hunter. They hide out in the small redneck town of Backwash, where Catherine hatches a plan to turn the backwoods folk into an army of her vampire slaves. Cultures further clash when Ma Poissier (Carrie Davis) wins a free room redecoration by fruity Frenchman Jean-Claude Les Eaux (Scott Shanks), who tries his best to fit in with crazy hillbillies like Lil' Junior (Rob Merickel) and his buddy Cletus (Bill Bradford). Beer drinking, bean eating, tripe cooking, shower peeping, competitive farting, strip poker playing and all manner of insanity follow, all leading up to the town's annual Tripe Days Festival. | Note: |
- The lead female vampire, Catherine, and her familiar, Lendel, had to be recast when the original actress (who had been acting alongside her husband) didn't show up for the finale scenes. Her make-up and the Russian accent are inspired by Famke Janssen's performance as Xenia Onatopp in "Goldeneye" (1995). |
- Most of the effects were done in a makeshift last minute way, and almost all of the movie was done in a single house. - The owner of the rural farm location where most of the movie was shot has a bar band and was so inspired by the project that he composed and recorded a theme song for the movie.
