Summary:
Killing time at High School takes on a whole new meaning when Buffy (Kristy Swanson), a fully accessorised cheerleader, is told by a mysterious old man (Donald Sutherland) that she is the appointed one - a vampire slayer of the highest order. But when Lothos (Rutger Hauer), the chief vampire, and his side kick vow to get their vengeance, Buffy finds herself up to her neck in trouble and battling against the undead with only the help of a seriously gorgeous drifter.

short review:
I have to admit that I'm a real Buffy believer! I love the series (ok, Angel is cooler). And here you have the movie which later spawned the TV-series (where they exchanged Kristy Swanson to Sarah Michelle Gellar). This movie already has all the series' trademarks - humour, fun, some serious fighting against (the poor) vampires, and a chick who's more in cheer-leading than nightly bloodsucker hunting. Every Buffy fan (and all of you nightcreatures out there) should watch the origin.
