Summary: Vampires have existed in the shadowy realm of myth and legend since the dawn of civilization. But what is the psychological basis for the myth? And why do an increasing number of young people feel compelled to translate the myth into reality?
Featuring interviews with real vampires and re-enactments of Vampire encounters, Children Of Dracula is a daring documentary which examines the morbid, sensual and sometimes deadly world of the twentieth cetury Vampire.
Jungian Psychologist, Marshall D. Voris, who has treated Vampires for several years, provides revealing insights into this strange behavior and the subconscious sources of the forbidden practice of drinking blood.
Enter the strange, shadowy and sexually uninhibited world of America's modern day Vampires. The old saying that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction is evident in this new documentary.
Note: - This Discovery Channel documentary, filmed in Texas and NY City, has the brother of Martin Sheen ("Apocalypse Now"), Joe Estevez (who has made a career out of recording voice-overs for documentaries), as the narrator.
- Remington York, in association with Reel Movies International, contacted gothic rock-project "Hexenhaus" for their documentary, and a performance and an interview with the band were filmed.
