Summary:
An immortal couple, Miriam and John Blaylock, are young, beautiful... and hungry. The legendary Catherine
Deneuve plays Miriam, a cool and icy beauty whose mysterious secret is as old as the Pyramids. David Bowie is John, a man
who has shared Miriam's bed, her passion for music and her secrets for endless centuries. Their coolly perfect idyll is shattered
one day when, inexplicably, John begins to age at an astounding pace and the unthinkable - death - becomes a tragic reality.
Susan Sarandon is the brilliant physician attempting to unravel the secrets of ageing, until she too is caught up in the web
of blood and desire which is "The Hunger".

short review:
Now this is a unique and visually stunning film from ex-commercial filmer Tony Scott (brother of Ridley "Alien"/"Gladiator" Scott) about the bestowed gift of eternal life - and about it's rapid ending. Great great cast, beautiful and alluring pictures, and when Goth band "Bauhaus" makes a nite-club performance of "Bela Lugosi Is Dead" right in the beginning sequence, you know that you grabbed the right film for tonight (or for every night)!!
