Set in 1984 on the dangerous streets of New York City, Night Owl is a nightmarish tale of urban vampires. Jake (James Raftery), a young man with harmless good looks roams the streets and bars of New York's East Village. His friends are worried. Jake looks sick he has no drive no ambition. What they don't know is that Jake hasn't aged since 1944, he is a vampire. Each night he lures women back to his seedy squat in Alphabet City for sex before slaughtering them in horrifyingly excessive ways and feasting on their flesh and blood. As Jake's self disgust and hunger increases so he begins to wither - a victim of his own debauchery. Angel (John Leguizamo), a young man on a desperate search for his missing sister Zohra (Karen Wexler), is on to him and closing in fast. With Jake's demise becoming all the more apparent it is time for the preternatural curse to be passed on.
