Beautiful vampire Angelique (Maryam d'Abo) awakens after a hundred years of slumber to find herself in modern-day Mexico City. Determined to start a new life, she falls in love with an eligible doctor (Keith Szarabajka) who believes she's suffering from a mysterious blood disorder. But before you can say anemia, her jealous vampire ex-lover Vlad (Ben Cross) appears from the past. He's come to claim Angelique for his bride, if he can get past her feisty maid (Camille Saviola) and the new man in her life.

short review:
Imagine: how will the world have changed when you awake after 100 years of sleep ? There are things and technologies you have never seen or heard of before ! And that's exactly the situation for the female vampire Angelique. Pretty good idea the creators mentioned here. The movie is funny (although it is not a comedy), a very amusing confrontation between the unbelieving Doctor-in-love and the vampiressa (also in love) and her nasty companions. You really should give this one a try.
