Summary:
Charles Reece (Alex McArthur) is the all-American boy... handsome and well liked. One day he buys a gun and goes on a horrifying murder spree. He slaughters entire families, drinks their blood and keeps their neatly cut-out entrails. The culprit seems to be a model-
psychopath: wrecked parent's house, persecution complex, imaginary missions that force him to his deeds, Nazi-philia. Anthony Fraser (Michael Biehn) is the liberal-minded district attorney seeking the death penalty, a punishment that goes beyond his personal beliefs.
Our Ranking
short review:
The main focus of this film is not on the "vampiric" deeds of Charles Reece (Alex
McArthur), but on the pros and cons of the death penalty. Based on the real-life story of Richard Trenton Chase, known as the
"Vampire of Sacramento", this is really an impressive movie, partly because of the drastic description, partly because of the
interresting topic.
Extra-Info: I recently watched the German version and I really recommend any German Vampyre to watch the Original Version, since the Syncro is that bad it will spoil the whole movie completely.
