Some say that Stephen King's brilliant work never quite makes it
on the big screen, this is an exception. A creepy potboiler told in
flashback with a slow start and an edge of your seat finish! David Soul is a
self-reflecting writer who begins to suspect the impossible: a vampire is at
work in his old home town of Jerusalems Lot; James Mason is perfect as the
chilling vampire guard and antiques dealer Straker. This "made for TV movie"
has some truly scary moments: when vampire Barlow pays a visit to the town
jail; Soul waiting for a female vampire to rise and the unforgettable boy
vampire scratching on the window glass, "let me in, come on lets play...".
Don't watch this on your own!!!
