Summary:
It was not a particularly dark and stormy night and poor Jeremy Capello (Robert Sean Leonard) could scarcely find a girl's neck, let alone sink his teeth into it, but then Jeremy had been looking a little peaky recently. When he could no longer see his reflection in the mirror, Jeremy had to admit: things were not quite normal. If only he hadn't delivered the groceries that day. The mansion was creepy, the woman was beautiful and Jeremy was lustful. She was all hands, all teeth and it was all over! Jeremy became one of the undead, a twentieth-century teen vamp. Modoc (Rene Auberjonois) takes the apprentice bloodsucker under his "bat like" wing and introduces Jeremy to the kosher sources of fresh blood when those embarrassing carnivorous urges strike.

short review:
The first time when I looked at the cover, I thought it to be just another children's comedy. But hell no, although it is funny, you will find qualified and pleasant references to some long-lasting vampire myths. I was highly delighted about the way they were handled. Sometimes less blood and more weight on quality instead just pays off!
