Summary:

For 800 years, they've fought to the death among the dark shadows of Thailand's exotic nights. Two armies of vampires. One, ruthless allies of the evil Niran (Dom Hetrakul), who delight in feasting on human blood. The other, loyal followers of the beautiful Sang (Stephanie Chao), battling to end Niran's brutal reign of terror. Suddenly trapped in this eerie underworld are two American tourists: Amanda (Meredith Monroe), kidnapped by Niran and turned into his blood slave; and her boyfriend Connor (Colin Egglesfield), an American Muay Thai fighter, desperate to save her soul. Now faced with the ultimate sacrifice, Connor must either join the fight against the forces of darkness or risk losing Amanda forever. The situation becomes complicated when Sang begins to fancy Connor, challenging his resolve and introducing a dramatic love triangle into the mix.

Note:

- The second addition to John Carpenter's 1998 movie Vampires is an in-name-only sequel, as John Carpenter had nothing to do with it, and the only connection left is a team of vampire-slayers using crossbows and winches to drag the bloodsuckers out into the daylight. Nevertheless this film has been released as a box set ("Vampires Collection") together with the two preceding movies (John Carpenter's Vampires and Tommy Lee Wallace's Vampires: Los Muertos).
