Our Ranking

short review:

This epic and great vampire saga has all the trademarks for a highly entertaining mini-series: love, romance, tragedy, deceit, conspiracy and - last but not least - the eternal hunger for blood. Created after "Vampire: The Masquerade", it delivers great and good-looking actors in stylish surroundings, which are engaged in a struggle for power for the leadership of the several clans. The treacherous plans get complicated when humans are involved, and especially complicated when it comes to love. It's a pity that there are only eight episodes, I'm still longing for more!!!
Unfortunately, the German release - with a running time of 105' (and 110' noted on the cover) - contains only the first two parts of the saga - the complete series has been aired on TV, though.
