Monsignor Muller (Rupert Davies), together with the cowardly village priest (Ewan Hooper), visit Castle Dracula, where they perform a rite of exorcism and place a cross over the castle's entrance. When Dracula is accidentally revived from his icy tomb, he swears revenge on the Monsignor, targeting the Monsignor's young niece Maria (Veronica Carlson) to be his bride.

Our Ranking

short review:

Yes, it's a Hammer movie with Christopher Lee starring as the ruthless and sinister Count Dracula. So you should expect something worth watching. And that it is, be assured! Not too much great suspense here, but nevertheless a real good output from England based Hammer Studios. Alas, some illogical scenes led to a downgrading of three instead of four "Nosferatus" in our ranking-list.
